Linux Enterprise Support+32 (0)2 747 47 01Mail

When we started providing Linux support for Enterprises under a 24 hour, 7 day by 7 support agreement, back in 1998. We were the first to do so in Europe.
In that era already, Linux was a viable professional solution for large environments. Today Linux is everywhere and one of the most critical parts of your infrastructure.

Our cost structure is not based on a 'per system' fee, but rather on a work estimate of our support effort. In this way we can adapt to your enterprise situation and organisation changes. Delivering the service level you require.

We cover the 3 main families of Linux flavours, but our offering is created in such way that we will assist you with any OpenSource Software problem you might encounter, down to the source code level, as it's supposed to be.

If you have a specific problem right now, don't hesitate to call us and find out what we can do for you. You can contact us at 02/747.47.01

Debian Linux is the Linux distribution used the most by medium and larger enterprises for internet server applications such as Nginx, the typical OpenSource stack and Java Application Servers. Debian was the first widespread Linux distribution developed completely in an OpenSource fashion. Debian is free and will remain free. We are also proud that one of our contractors Wouter Verhelst has contributed so much to the Debian ecosystem. Wouter also teaches our Debian Packaging Course

We provide standard support, on working days from 6 till 22. Gold support 24 hours a day, 365 days in the year. During this time we can be reached for emergencies by phone, and for less urgent requests by email. If possible, we can also perform remote interventions, reducing the need for physical transportation.

Red Hat Linux is the Linux distribution used the most by medium and larger enterprises for applications such as Oracle and in combination with VMWare ESX and Storage Area Networks. Red Hat was the first widespread Linux distribution in the enterprise environment and we actively pushed its adoption till Red Hat introduced a per-system fee structure. While this has the benefit that it makes Red Hat profitable, and Red Hat contributes most of its development back to the Linux community - we still consider this business model as contrary to the Linux filosophy. As such, we are not a reseller of Red Hat, but provide support for the current and past versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. We are also proud that the Belgian Dag Wieers and Dries Verachtert have contributed so many RPMs to the Red Hat ecosystem. While the software on Red Hat isn't the latest, there's an emphasis on long time support and stability.

Ubuntu Linux is the Linux distribution with the largest user base. In good OpenSource fashion the company Canonical makes together with the Linux Community this easy-to-install and easy-to-manage, well-polished Linux distribution.
It is especially known for it's easy upgrade, maintenance and installation. And mixes very good hardware detection, device driver support and user friendlyness. Its mostly used on laptops and workstations and appreciated by system administrators for small, medium and even up to the biggest environments now. Like with every technology, things can go wrong. The Ubuntu community support is very good, but most companies prefer that we take ownership for problems that might occur and delivery a solution promptly.

Embedded Linux
Embedded Linux is the fastest growing Linux market and there are far more Embedded Linux systems in the world than the total number of personal computers. Embedded Linux systems consist out of a boot loader, the linux kernel, C library, busybox and some other applications, possibly with a GUI or Android based.
We are capable to provide your organisation with the assurance that whatever problem occurs, we will be there to support you. With bug solving, architecture advice, Linux friendly hardware component identification, and such.

GPL License Compliance
Companies building products and services upon Linux can seek advise about what is allowed and disallowed, and what their obligations are based upon the many differrent OpenSource licenses covering a typical Linux distribution or Embedded Linux system.
We offer consultancy to clarify any questions with respect to this, complete software audits to analyse which licenses are applicable, the necessary additions to existing 'Acceptable End User Licenses', certain points of attention for certain regions and more.
We are not lawyers, but deeply specialised in these licensing issues. As such we can advise and guide your legal team and approach this important issue from your specific business needs.
